I'm not saying that having siblings is bad

I'm just saying that children seem to get along with their pets better.

    1. I get along really well with wine should someone write a report on that?
    2. I think everything is relative, my brother is my best friend, our dogs were pets, they aren't human and therefore we did not have the same relationship them as we did with each other.
    3. You basically did imply that having more than one child is bad.
    4. You also implied that people who are single parents are doing their children a disservice....I'm thinking one adult who loves and supports a child is better than 2 who are abusive, neglectful or just disinterested and children can find support anywhere be it a teacher, parent, grandparents and it can be just one
    5. There are a bazillion ways to parent.
    6. you made me break the rules by posting more than three things but if you came to spout about "facts" you should have the conviction to stand behind them rather than posting links to other people's thoughts. If you wish to make people feel like less than stellar parents might I direct you to parenting forums where this is common practice?

    2. Bobo is known to be the best Bigfoot caller....apparently it is "known exactly" what he sounds like

    Me too.
No one can fully understand the meaning of love unless he's owned a dog. A dog can show you more honest affection with a flick of his tail than a man can gather through a lifetime of handshakes.

In a previous part of my life I was an outdoor writer, and amongst these men he stood at the pinnacle. His writing is heart-felt and genuine, and vivid in imagery. But it is all about the simple outdoor life. If that is of interest, I more than highly recommend finding some of his work. If you do like it, you will never be the same after reading it.

    I'm not an outdoorsy type
although I love nature just like it in a princessy context

My research shows all aged people on MFP who argue "research facts" in forums drop 5 IQ points each time.

Generalizing children into any given mold is useless. They will:
    1. beat you with the mold
    2. break the mold, especially if it's your favorite, and
    3. prove you incredibly wrong just about everytime.

Statistics, studies, and scientific scenarios disregard the human element. I'm the 8th of 8 yet the 1st in my family with a college degree (multiple actually). Being so far removed from the 1st child, I should be dumb as dirt.

All of my brothers and sisters are good at something and love me unconditionally. I've had dogs, fish, rabbits, squirrels, horses, and others as pets. I would much rather have my siblings.
