    1) I've been eating donuts at Tim's all week and even won a free one when I rolled up my rim
    2) I'm in maintenance now and still earning 1000 calories a day exercising
    3) So, they fit within my caloric allowance and are delicious

    Rolled up your rim?
    Not sure what that means
    My brain made it filthy

    2. @Timshel_ I both hate and love you all at the same time.

    1. Aww! Thank you. That's sweet of you to say. :)
    2. I hope you enjoy your donuts.
    3. I still have no donuts. Or coffee.

    1) I'm tired of waiting around for things to get better
    2) I need to start living and not just surviving the current storm, there is always a storm
    3) I have a lot of regrets of the last 3 years, that I need to let go, and move on with life.

    1. I was out of town for a day-long meeting in Southern California. On my way back yesterday I had to wait four hours in the airport. I spent the entire time thinking about food, on MFP, and corresponding and talking with MFP friends. I think I'm a wee bit obsessed, but this obsession has led me to be the healthiest (and in some ways, happiest) I have been in the last 30 years or so. I'll take it!

    2. @PowerMan40, we don't know each other, but I feel for you and want to offer you some advice and encouragement, so ... YES! Don't wait for things to get better! Don't just survive! WAKE UP AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! You are clearly unhappy. Based on things you said previously, it sounds like you and I are in similar situations, except that I waited muuuch longer than you to deal with it. Don't do what I did. You know what you need to do. Nobody else is going to do it for you and things won't get better until you do it. Start taking steps to deal with it now and know that things will eventually get better.

    3. Something I learned (from Adyashanti--Falling into Grace): Regret is about wanting to change the past. Changing the past requires changing what is, and any time we try to change what is, we lose, because we cannot change reality. That struggle causes us to suffer.

Accepting the past means accepting that there is no “what should have happened”. There is only “what happened” and how we feel about it. Once we accept that, we suffer less, because we stop trying to change what happened. We accept that it happened and we focus on our feelings about it and what to do about them now.

Know that the past brought you to the current moment and do what you need to do to address those feelings and the current problems.

    1. I have a cold, so I'm trying to figure out how quickly I can get my work done so I can go home and crawl in bed until noon tomorrow.
    2. I think donuts are gross.
    3. I had a crazy dream I was pregnant last night and was going into labor, but I was still a size 4. Not even a baby bump, much less a 9-month pregnant belly. My ob-gyn was high on pot and couldn't deliver the baby so we drove to the White House so their medical staff could take care of me. I have no idea what was in the Chinese takeout I had for dinner, but that whole dream was super trippy.
