Pre making meals?

I know it is popular to premake your meals and freeze them. What kind of things work well for this? How many days do you do and do you make only one thing or do you mix it up?

I prep lunch and dinner for a week. I do a new theme each week. One week might be Italian, next week chicken and rice, then another week might Mexican, etc.

Here are the containers I use.
I make 3- 4 eggs over medium and 1 turkey sausage link every morning. So I don't have to prep that.
Lunch

I usually do a big pot of hearty soup, stew or chili on Sundays. I free them in Ziploc bags so they defrost pretty quickly. Pasta, lasagne, enchiladas and casseroles also freeze quite well.1

So the lunch containers are as single, larger compartment and the dinner ones are divided?

Yes and I cook 2 meals a day for 5 people. So that is 70 meals a week that I usually cook on sundays or sometimes half on Sunday other half on wed.
So when people say they don't have time to prep for themselves. I find it hard to believe when I do it for 5 people, work full time, have a wife and kids, work out daily and train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 3x a week. =P
