Hi! I've tried researching on here as well as the web and haven't really found what I'm looking for. So hoping someone can help me out..

I'm 5'5" 146 pounds, I have a desk job BUT I strive for at least 11,000 steps a day plus I do at least 1-2 days a week of weights.

My question is.. based off my stats and trying to lose 1 pound a week should I put down my activity level not active, basing it off my work? Or should I put it down as lightly active basing it off of my steps and light work out regime.

As far as calories, I base what I eat off of MFP and I know to eat back a little of my work out calories if I'm still hungry. But the 1230 calories it gives me for not active just seems really low..

Please help!

Everyone is different but i would but yourself in inactive. Majority of your day is spent sitting. I feel a "slightly active" person is someone who is generally on their feet most of the day.

I stand a lot for my job and go home to walk my dog (good 40 minutes) but i have myself set as inactive. And add calories through exercise such an aerobic (HITT training, biking, running). But that's just me. Calories are more important, and can always be taken down/up more. But setting too high might discourage you into thinking you're eating less then you are

11000 steps before meaningful exercise is light active.
