Going over calories

Does anyone go over their calories for the day / week? If so by how many.. Like I know Weight Watchers lets you go over a certain amount of points so I was wondering if anyone did this with their calories.

If I know I am going to a party or dinner I will eat under my calorie goals in order to splurge at the party. Basically I try to average 1500 calories. So most days I may eat 1200 and maybe one or two days eat 1700-2000. Its similar to calorie cycling the theory is to have low and high calorie days is a method some use to keep the metabolism going strong.0

I have gone over once or twice but I try really hard not to do it since I feel defeated when I do0

Sometimes I do, but I save going over for special occasions. Plus I have my goal set for 2 pounds a week, so I know if I go over it will just mean less weight loss. \0

I've gone over by as much as 625 calories on a day when I went to the let loose at a local casino buffet followed by a burger king combo for dinner, so now I try to exercise as much as I can (usually 30 day shred followed by 20-30 mins of tae bo or zumba) to give myself enough of a cushion to eat a combo without going over my goals. I also keep track of my walks using runtastic so a walking trip to the corner store becomes additional calories burned on my log.0

Day, yes week no. I try to keep my deficit for the week enough to lose two pounds, so some times I eat around an 800 deficit, and some days its 1000 or 1200 depending on my activity level.0

I'm usually under or over. I'm rarely spot on for the day or week. It is not important to me to match all the numbers.
I'm usually under for the week, once I recall I was over 400 calories over. I'm not worried about either because the inches are melting away.
I don't save calories to use another day. I do note days when my calories are a little low & make sure to get more the next day.0 -

I'm no longer actively trying to lose weight so perhaps not the best person to comment, but I go over most days, by a lot (and I'm usually over by 1000+ calories a week). I must be a rebel as the red numbers don't faze me anymore!
I'm using MFP more as an investigative tool to track my eating habits. If I actually ate what MFP recommends for maintenance I would continue to lose weight. But I've decided I'd rather eat more and weigh 3-5lb more. I play around with my macros a lot.
I never 'eat under' before a big meal as it always leads to bingeing/overeating later on. If I'm having a big meal day I accept that I will be several hundred in the red that day.0 -
Yes, I do go over. But then again, my net is set at 1200 and I am currently contemplating to increase since I don't feel it's enough. Not because I would be hungry; I am quite ok with healthy meals at 1200 but because I really believe for a healthy balance I should up my intake. Having said that, I checked my intake in the past two weeks and yeah, I was regularly over and still losing.0
