Truvia by weight

I like to cook and bake by weight. However, now that I'm switching over to Truvia I'm starting to track down conversions but most seem to be American

A cup of granular Splenda is supposed to weigh the same as granulated sugar. One cup of sugar weighs 200g. Can anyone confirm that a cup of granular Splenda does in fact weigh 200g

For those interested in cooking and baking what's your sweetener of choice?

Kevin

    According to the nutrition label, .5 tsp = 1.75g. Since there are 48 tsp/cup: 2x48x1.75 = 168g/cup, no?

Edit: Scratch that. It occurred to me that you're likely using the baking blend, which is 2g/.5tsp. If that's the case, it would come out to 192g/cup.

You asked the same question on another message board. See my answer on that other board. You really should only ask a question on one board, it starts to get confusing when there are two of the same conversations going on at the same time.

My apologies I don't know what happened. I've asked moderator to remove this thread. Kevib
