Hi Guys,

Myfitnesspal set's my protein intake should be 30% from total calories. But I read some healthy blog said that 1 g protein/lbs of your weight is a good number to consume. And 30% protein from total calories intake is obviously half of the rule 1 g protein/lbs. Need your advise guys. Thx

You can change your goals for protein by going to MY HOME > Goals > then "Edit" in the first box with your macros.

Protein goals are variable, depending on your personal goals. Set it how you want it.

Here's a good read which is very helpful for setting up your macros (and why): http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/819055/setting-your-calorie-and-macro-targets/p1

Depends where you live i think. In europe we have 1 gram per kilo bodyweight. I'm Dutch so keep the europe figure.

    Obviously???
The relationship between 30% of calories from protein and grams per lb BW is going to vary from person to person, depending on what they weigh, what their goals are, how active they are, etc. For me, at a goal of half-pound loss per week, 30% would be almost spot on for 1 g per lb BW.
