I started walking 2 miles a day and eating 20 or less carbs per day and I'm losing weight and feeling great!

    Good for you, getting active! You will make good progress if you are patient about eating somewhat (not massively) fewer calories than you burn daily, get some enjoyable exercise, and eat nutritiously. Great stuff!

    Some of my friends do Silver Sneakers and really enjoy it. (My Y has it, too, but I'm 'only' ;) 61 so I just take spin classes, swim, and sometimes do other things.)

    I am following the Atkins Induction Plan to try to take off some pounds quickly then go into Phase II and beyond. So far I feel great and losing quickly.

    Hi,
    I'm 5'5" and weighed 224 lbs on Aug 9, 2018, I decided to make it happen this time and lose 50 lbs.
    I'm on Dr. Stillman's QWL Diet and lost 8.1 lbs in seven days. The diet is strict but it works! I am also walking 2 miles, three times a week. I'm taking it one day at a time. I've given myself a 14 Challenge and so far I'm doing great!!
