From 1St Jan I've cut my calories to 1200 sometimes over a little but mostly meeting.
I've used the same scale and it tells me I've lost 9kg since I 1st recorded my weight. I don't see 9kg worth of weight off of me so I'm in a bit of disbelief.
So weird

9kg in 35 days? Or 1.8kg a week?
i.e. more than 1500 Cal a day deficit?
Hopefully you're over 180kg, in which case you did GREAT!2 -

+1 to what PAV8888 said.
But don't worry if you're not seeing it. It could be for several reasons.
For some of us (like me) the fatter parts get kind of squishy first, before actually shrinking much, then the size changes more suddenly.
For many/most of us, it takes our brains (i.e., psychological self-image) time to catch up with our bodies. I'm two years into maintenance, having lost 1/3 of my bodyweight, and it still sometimes doesn't quite compute. For example, many people report taking big clothes to the fitting room to try on because they "look right", but finding they need to go back and get the same item multiple sizes smaller.
Also, the loss process is inherently gradual, and we see ourselves daily, so it's hard to see the difference even when it's there. (People close to us who see us daily can experience this same effect, and not notice our loss.)
Try taking some careful tape-measurements once a month, and seeing whether those change. Take honest full-body photos (front, side, back) in a bathing suit or close-fitting clothing once a month, and compare those - sometimes that makes loss more obvious. Pick some reference clothing that you can remember how it fits, and try it on periodically to see if it fits the same. Some people, if they have smaller clothes in the closet, like to try on something one size smaller once in a while & see if they're getting closer to fitting.
If the scale says you're down that much, you're making progress. Eventually, by one of the methods above, it will become obvious. Meanwhile, hang in there!7 -
I've lost 93 lbs and still can't see it in the mirror. Definitely take pictures.6

You can't see a lot of difference in just a month. Losing weight takes time.1

im 21kg down from my highest weight and seem to be the only person who cant see the difference...until i look at photo from then to now side by side then i can, but its taken a while2

This also depends entirely on how large you are when you start. How much do you weigh total?
Obviously the greater total percentage of weight lost will be more apparent, regardless of body size.0 -
are your clothes getting looser? Seeing it in the mirror can be tough, but the weight came from somewhere.2

Water weight mostly0

Your brain is terrible at judging the size of things, especially people. When you look in the mirror, you see what you expect to see, not what is really there. Maybe start taking progress photos - the camera does lie, but it's a little more truthful than your actual eyes. I've lost 1st 9 (23lb/10.4kg) and I can't really see difference. Other people can, though, especially when they haven't seen me for a while.2

80 pounds down, and side by side before and after photos are the only way I can see it. Obviously there's a difference in the mirror now, but my brain will always see the fat girl.1

I dropped 40 pounds in 20 weeks and I couldn't see it. My DR'S nurse sure did! That's when I had no choice but to admit it.2

Great job! I NEED to find a pair of Accurate Scales but my clothes are looser and arms and legs and belly shrinking1
