Stuck in my last ten pounds. Scale won't budge :(.... HELP!

I've lost 65 pounds over the course of 9 months. I have 10 to go and can't for the life of me get the scale to move. I'm faithfully working the calorie count to loose 2 lbs per week, exercise regularly, and stay hydrated.

What am I missing???

Usually, the solution is to reassess and tighten up your logging. When you have little to lose, accuracy becomes really important. Also, are you eating back all of your exercise calories?

Finally, with only 10 to lose, you should definitely consider dropping your goal down to .5-1 lb/week.

You made some great points. I'm not eating back all my exercise calories every day but I could definitely stand to improve.
I'm wanting to loose 5 more pounds before I drop to .5/1 per week. The last 5 of the 10 pounds are my "flex pounds", meaning thats the range I would like to fluctuate in permanently and I'm not really in a hurry to lose them.

If you're at 10lb to go, you should be on .5lb/week, which is horrible because you're juuuuust there and you want to lose it now but when you're that close, set on 2lb a week is too much.
Are you guesstimating your food, or are you weighing it for accuracy? How long has it been since you've seen a scale change? Are you also measuring yourself and if so, are you seeing changes there? The scale is legendary for being a jerkface, and measurements are a much more accurate judge.

That's helpful thanks! I'm not measuring unless it's a liquid so I could definitely tighten that up. I haven't seen the scale budge in two weeks now but my measurements are changing so that's good. My clothes are continuing to get looser so that's a win, I just want to be there!

Ugh I hear your pain!! I started walking a lot with my husband (1-3 hrs per day moderate pace) and the scale began to move. It's just burning more cals for me cause I don't want to give up anymore food! I eat only 1200 as is. Good luck!!
