Hello everyone!

I decided to give this MFP a try because I think I'm going to need some support along the way to my goal. I've been up and down the weight ladder for years and each time the weight comes back, sometimes with extra. I'm tired of feeling yucky and I have a few health issues that would probably get better if I lost some weight....so I've started the trip!! About 10 days ago I decided now's the time. I started by gong to the grocery store and stocking up on "good" stuff and when I got home I got rid of the "bad" stuff. That has made it easier not to be tempted. I live alone, so it's nice not having to worry about what others want. I've gotten up several mornings and gone to the workout room before work (something totally new for me) and done some extra walking. I don't want to overwhelm myself with changes, so I am concentrating on my diet first and will incorporate exercise gradually. I have lost 4.5 lbs so that is keeping me going. I'm always open for tips/advice and look forward to hear about your progress which will help motivate me.
