Mini cut during bulk?

I started my Bulk at the start of this year… with the idea of adding lean muscle until Mid April and then cutting to ready for Mid July, so roughly a 12 week cut after a 13/14 week bulk. I started this year at around 11% BF, but this has definitely increased (can’t see abs unless tensing).

I’ve been quite slack since the new year, going maybe twice a week. (I was going 4-5 times per week when cutting).

I was thinking about a Mini cut, maybe for two weeks or something?

I’d rather look ripped than a little bigger at the end of my goal period, so I may start cutting earlier. I understand I’m not going to add loads of mass in the next 12 or so weeks, so beginning my cut earlier would probably be more beneficial to what I want to look like.

Any thoughts?

Have a look into RFL by Lyle McDonald. You would be a Cat 1 dieter and it is 10 days.

Many people on here use mini cuts during their bulks and RFL is ideal in my opinion.

Agreed. RFL is great if you have good dietary adherence.

Absolutely. I'll be using it again myself in a few weeks, because *kitten* screwing with my 5/3/1 progression for months by slow cutting. Get that *kitten* over with, ride a couple of maintenance weeks, then slowly climb back to surplus.
