Do you guys log herbs and spices?

I threw a small handful of basil into a salad I ate today (maybe 2 TB, at the most) and put some onion powder (only ingredient is dried onions) on pretty much every veggie I eat.

Should I be logging that type of stuff, or is it such a small amount it's negligible? I'm not concerned about the calories really, more if it is affecting my micronutrient levels at all.

I log mine if I have time, but don't if i'm really in a hurry. shouldn't really affect you unless you are eating super-duper close to your TDEE I would think.
  • Dont log it. I think that's a bit excessive. Remember this is a rough tool, it isn't the be all end all. A few spices or dried onions ate not going to change anything!

However, wet rubs and sauces you should log

I log everything so I know what I've eaten. You also find that some dry spices will surprise you with the amount of calories they have
