Looking for a tracker to replace Fitbit One

I have been a loyal fitbit one user for 4 years now but must move on. They do not last long so I am looking for something accurate and durable.

Any recommendations? Anyone have to One and then move to a different brand.
I loved that it worked well with MFP and tracking steps and calories burned are what I am after most.

Thanks

If you do want to stick with Fitbit, the original Flex has lasted 3 years for me. It still works, I just have to charge it every day or two instead of every 5 days. I think they're less than $70 on Amazon now. :)

Thanks however I would rather not give them anymore money  they have enough after 4 years plus I like the clip ones better. I am not really a bracelet wearer and the one tucked nicely into my bra!

I had One, went to a Charge HR, and went back to a One. My first One lasted 18 months and it probably still works, but I sold it for bigger and better. Hated the Charge HR. My new One is almost a year old with no issues.

I wish I had that kind of luck! I had my first one 2 years then it had battery issues. It was out of warranty so I bought a new one within 2 months it was no good so they replaced it and that one has been giving me issues for who knows how long it is out of warranty by about 4 months.
I need something that is going to last me longer and for whatever reason these are not working for me. I do think the last one they send was refurbished/used.

Anyway looking for a fitbit alternative

If both of the Ones that lasted past warranty were 2+ years old, that's the average life expectancy for a lot of the fitness trackers, so other brands might only make it to 2 years as well. (I've seen some that are only expected to last a year, and it boggles my mind that people will still buy them anyway for all that money anyway)

There are bunch of different options on this page if you want to try Googling reviews on the ones that catch your interest. :)

Just the first one lasted that long. 2nd one last 2 months and the replacement went 1 year about 4 months as I am not exactly sure when the issues started, I only know when I noticed it. Could have very well been within the warranty or not.
They would be smart to offer extended warranty!! I do love my fitbit one but it's time to move on.

Thanks -- Have been looking at the Garmin Vivofit 2 or 3, vivosmart HR or Polar Loop or A300 but seeing all the clipons I guess I have more research to do!! thanks for the help!

I have the Blaze and it works okay but is a bit large on my wrist. Pros, I like the heart monitor, sleep tracking and challenges from fit bit friends. Cons, the notifications and music controls have never really worked out for me.

If your Fitbit is failing outside of warranty they should give you a discount code for money off a new one. I know that's not ideal but it's not bad and I don't know how many other tracker manufacturers do that.

My friend had endless problems with various models of jawbone bracelets - breaking in one way or another.

My TomTom Multisport has been replaced 3 times.

I think as @marieamethyst said, two years is probably about right for tracker lifetime of any brand/model.

I would have been happy at the 2 year mark for sure but my 2nd one was replaced at 2 months and I am currently using that replacement now and is the one I noticed is off but I am not sure when it started to mess up could have been within the warranty period. I only noticed it now which is just 4 months past the warranty period.
I guess I have just always had a good experience with Fitbit and with them not willing to help me pinpoint why I am having these discrepancies is frustrating. All they say is it defective, out of warranty and buy a new one.

I had my Fenix 3 on when I got hit by a car, I was doing hill repeats on my bike. The car was going 35 to 40 mph. Watch was on my wrist, I hit the hood of the car hard enough that I was certain I broke that arm. Luckily I was wrong about that. Spent about 24 hours in the ER and ICU. Bad head concussion. Couldn't really walk for a week. No damage to the watch, though. Not a scratch. The GPS and barometer and step counter and everything else worked the same as before the accident.

I think Fitbits die because people will pay to replace them.

OMG what an incredible story! Glad you are ok.

I do agree though about fitbit. Rather then troubleshoot with me and explain why such a wide range with my calories burned/steps they were quick to say it's out of warranty buy a new one.

I truly just want to understand how I can walk 8000 steps and burn more than I do when I walk 14500.
