I went in for my bp check with the nurse at the doctor's office. She went over my blood work and everything is good as far as thyroid, cholesterol, blood sugar... she took my bp 4 times and each time was normal 110/70 and 110/60.

I'm going to watch my sodium intake and cut back on caffeine - those are two things she said that can really help. I definitely have too much of both.

On that note I'm discovering that limiting sodium is hard! I'm going to have to do a lot more cooking from scratch... and limiting hot sauce - there's so much salt in hot sauce! It's sad cause I like to put hot sauce on everything!

    Chipotle tabasco has 120mg fwiw.

Yes, read labels. I've heard some of the dave's insanity flavors are pretty low too.

Glad your BP reading was normal the second visit to the doctor. I have a terrible case of white coat hypertension where I get high readings in medical settings. I monitor my pressure at home w/ an automatic and manual cuff sometimes to get a true reading.
