Under > FOOD .. button at bottom .. Complete this Entry. It creates a projection "if every day were like today." But, that only compares using current day.

Is there a way to get a cumulative projection ?

Example: yesterday I did not exercise, so went over by 400 calories
Today I did 2 hours on the bike, so, have 1,000 calories left

Is there a way to get a running projection ?

I see that under MY HOME > Profile I can get how many pounds lost, but that seems to be based on my check in, not cumulative projections

No. That is the only automated projection MFP makes based on one day's net Calorie intake. That projection assumes you will *net* exactly the same Calories for the next 35 days in a row - which is statistically unlikely to happen. It was and is a useless data point for me.

Edited to add: If you have 5 weeks of data already logged in the Diary, and you go back and re-complete the day 35 days before today, the calculation will still use today's current weight to project that number, so looking back and redoing it is even more useless since it does not use the weight you may have recorded on that day 35 days ago.

Here's a cool site I've played around with:

    https://www.lifespanfitness.com/fitness/resources/weight-loss-calculator

This one is just way too much fun, limited, but fun:

    http://www.precisionnutrition.com/weight-loss-calculator

The site works better on a computer.
