I was on here a few years back and then lost track of it. Things are really chaotic in my life right now so I want to control the controllable and get my fitness in order. Make a positive change. I used to be more of a runner but after I ran a marathon last March I've been more interested in weight lifting. It would be nice to find a new athletic challenge too... I tried a boxing class a week ago and it was a lot of fun but too expensive to get a membership. I want a little support, maybe a friend or two, and maybe some ideas on getting the diet under control... don't really need to lose weight but turn some fat into muscle.

Good luck! I enjoyed kick boxing too...but you are right, too expensive! I can get a teacher discount but it's still so much per month!1

I'm open to ideas for classes/sports to try... I did crossfit one time but the place was a little in your face. I didn't really like the atmosphere although the workout was good.0
