What to do?

Hi there everybody!. So it's been a while since I've been here, but I'd really like to get started again. But before I do so I've come here with a problem that I keep encountering, and I'm wondering if anybody can give me suggestions on what to do about it. So I've noticed this in past attempts of dieting, and after trying again today, I'm still running into the same problem. I've tried almost every fad diet there is out there, and I really seem to like 21 day fix. You get a good amount of food and it's easy. But I've noticed at some point during my dieting, I get really cranky, get a bad headache, and eventually I've noticed that if I eat something sugary, I feel much better right afterwards.

Can anybody tell me what's going on?. I'd really like to start getting some of my extra weight off, but I'm not really sure how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!.

This may sound harsh, it's the Benadryl I'm on. The problem is, you're dieting. You're doing fad diets with limited time scopes instead of making an actual change to your lifestyle of eating. Eat less calories, you'll lose weight. Diets and fads are just gimmicks, in some cases to make money, in others to make them 'famous'. There's no trick. Fire up the ol' MFP to tell you how many calories you should consume (not what you think), and stick to it. If I eat too little food, I'll get hangry, that's why I don't diet. Hell, I had girl scout cookies tonight (tis the season!), still under calories.

Get a food scale and start measuring out what you eat - it's a pain but it's the most accurate way. Get a measuring tape to take body measurements - it's far more accurate than the scale (which can flux) is. Eat the calories MFP gives you to eat so you don't get hangry, up them a little if you need to at first (ie set MFP to 1lb/week loss instead of 2/lb), and DON'T get upset when 2 days have gone by and there's no results. Weight loss isn't linear, especially for those of us with those female issues... so you'll see ups and downs, and that's ok, as long as the overall trend is down.
