So I have lost pretty consistently over the past few weigh ins. 3lbs, 2lbs, 4lbs on weekly weighs.

This morning I 'only' lost 0.4lbs. (so it counts as 'staying the same' as last week on my trackers)

But.....

As I have spent a lot of time browsing these boards and filling my brain with the fact that weight loss varies and can fluctuate week from week even going up, and TOM and stuff, I did not feel bad and go get mega breakfast, I said 'yay still a loss' and went on my merry way with wetabix and milk.

So thanks to everyone for contributing to this new mental state I find myself in! :D

Great attitude! I like to think that any week I don't gain is a victory. Losses are just extra big victories. :D

That mental shift you just experienced is a key indicator that your mind-set is just where it needs to be to tackle a long-term goal such as weight loss. It shows that you are prepared to cope with disappointments and frustrations as you journey toward your goal. The importance of this can't be overstated. Congratulations on the progress you are making, and keep striving and growing. Ever onward!

This is great - makes it seem like I haven't been wasting my time answering the same questions over and over and over again!
