Papa Murphey's pizza..WTF?

They have a $10 large pizza deal on Tuesdays, so I'm looking to see if I can fit it in. But looking at nutrition values, I'm super surprised!

If you google "Papa Murphey's nutrition" it pops up the nutrition values for one large slice of all of their pizzas. Very cool for comparisons. Thanks Google! Anyway...How on earth is a chicken mediteranian delite the same number of calories (and more carbs) than the chicken garlic? It's thin instead of regular crust and has feta instead (or is it in addition to?) the mozzarella/cheddar blend. I can see where the olive oil might not be fewer cals than the creamy garlic...

Also note that the cowboy and all meat ones (pep, sausage etc) are only around 10% more...

Anyway...do your homework folks! I was going to go "delite" to save on calories but likely would have ended up eating more! I've only had it once but remember it being less filling/satisfying.

Just make your own. At least then you can build it in the recipe builder.
I don't get the concept of that place. They make it and you bake it? If I want to bake something I'll make it my self or save a few bucks and get it from Costco or Sam's.

My time is more valuable than the $10 and I like it. Shrug. YMMV

I like it because if I don't want homemade pizza it's the only way I can get hot 'pizza place' pizza, I live in a tiny town and no one will deliver LOL

Sorry. Wasn't trying to knock anyone's choices.

Always good to do your homework rather than assume. Just like at places where the salads are twice the calories as the double bacon cheeseburger. You did the right thing by checking first rather than just falling for the marketing.

Are they cut into the same number of slices? I know Dominos over here have a healthy range and the healthy pizza is cut into 6 where their normal ones are 8?

Heh, this reminds me of a Subway ad I saw the other day, quotes from people on their favourite order. Some guy said "I go for a wrap, so I can enjoy my meatball sub, guilt free!" - Um, the wrap is higher calories than the bread.

The nutrition value's are not the same on my Google. They give them for a large size, but they are all different, and they are all based on a large cut into 8 pieces, which is a generous piece. We always get the veggie delite now and we don't miss not having meat.

They are all listed as 1/8th of a large pizza. Different pizzas have different values but the chicken mediteranian delite and the chicken garlic are both listed as 370 cals per slice. What do they show on yours @3rdof7sisters ? If different, what country are you in?
