Please can someone help...
My food tracker does not show the MFP's food database on the phone App. The only database is my own "recent" foods. I have uninstalled the App and reinstalled it on my phone but still no MFP food database. There is not even an option to search for it.
How can I get the MFP food database back on my phone application?
Thanks for helping.

Its there on mine. I press the + then select breakfast lunch or whatever my food comes up but up on top is a search bar just type in what your looking for.0

If you are on the iOS app, try pressing the search key (magnifying glass icon) on the keypad after you type in a search text. On the Android app, the search icon is right next to the text box.0

Thanks but the search icon on my phone (Android) delivers only the results of my "recent" foods. When I type for example a certain brand of muffin that I am eating for the first time in the search box with the magnifying glass, I get zero results because it is searching within my "recent foods" list. I don't know why it does not search the MFP food database.
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thank you.0 -

Verify that your data is saved on the web version, then remove the MFP app and reinstall.0 -

⬆️ if you just type the foodit will only bring up "recents". You have to press the big blue search key on the keyboard to bring up all of those items in the data base.

My search tab is bottom right of the keyboard.
Edit: I am on iOS though!0 -

So... my search key is pink (not that it matters) but it works. MFP didn't do this before the last update though. But, a big THANKS is in order! It's working now.0
