So if I am at subway as example, I see two calories next to the type of sandwich clearly for 6" and 12". Is that the calories for the meat and bread or just meat?

I'd think it's the meat & bread, but without condiments and toppings.

It's for bread, meat, and certain veggies (not olives). No cheese and no condiments/sauces.

http://www.subway.com/en-us/menunutrition/nutrition here is their nutrition. If you click on a sandwich and then "calculate yours" it shows that the total calories can include cheese, veggies, and condiments, it's depends on the type of sandwich.

I'd just create yours online before you go in or after you order and you'll get a rough estimate of total calories.

Check their website - they have tons of info. My guess is for meat & bread.

I pulled up carved turkey......calories were 330. When I click on "calculate yours" I see that it includes 9 grain wheat bread, meat, and veggies......no cheese.....no sauce. I can click on buttons for my personal choices & re-calculate. Easy.
