Advice for family holiday

We are going away, self catered, for a week. Most of my family are overweight, and my sis is pregnant so will not be watching her weight, obviously! Any tips on coping with this environment?

I'm particularly worried about
- not knowing how many calories is in what I'm eating (when we eat out, or when someone else cooks)
- being swept along with the 'holiday mood' and joining in with all the snacking
- drinking too much wine in the evenings
- being pressured by well-meaning family to have second helpings, desserts, or another class of wine

Any helpful advice?

I gained six pounds in a week on our recent family vacation. Be careful. I did ll the wrong things. I blew my swim routine, ate tons of junk, sat around. I guess I'd say, don't do what I did!

Hm, I think the answers are built in your questions:

    - choose wisely, order or eat lots of vegs and refrain from calorie boosters and greasy foods
    - snack on healthy snacks like nuts, dried fruits, fruit in general and similar
    - well, hmmm... enjoy your glass of red or white but if you are worried, don't overdo it
    - say no... but don't stress if you stray on occasion

Have a lovely holiday and lots of fun with your family!
