So I'm thinking I need to start lifting weights. I have a lot of weight to lose before my wedding and I don't want saggy skin at the Bahamas. What weight lifting do u do to tighten up? I'm really clueless

*Only if I can go to the bahamas lol I use BodySpace a free app through bodybuilding.com it's free. you pick a program and add it to your calendar and follow each day. It gives instructions and videos on how to execute each move and suggested reps. I am following a weight lifting/lean program and I really like it. Love my muscles

you dont really its based on genetics...age....and how long your skin has been stretched....how much its stretched...and time it takes to lose....rate of loss...

Best i can say is keep your skin mousturized and stay hydrated. Weight lifting builds muscle to sort of fill out the loose skin, But wont stop it occuring if its going to. Know your husband loves you for you, He wont care about a little loose skin. No one around you will either. Youd be the only one in the world to care.

How old are you? How much weight do you have to lose?

It can take a year for skin to get back its elasticity.

Weight lifting doesn't tighten skin. It can fill in at spots, but since you're in a deficit (you say you're losing weight), you're not going to gain much muscle in the first place. Plus I imagine the fat loss is going to outweighs any gain. All that will help is time I'm afraid. How long out is the trip?
