Hi everyone! I had a gastric sleeve done on December 22. I didn't want to go the route of surgery, but I have an autoimmune disorder and was unable to lose my weight due to all my medication I was on. I have been on steroids for years to keep my immune system in check (I have lupus) so losing weight was impossible.
Since my surgery, I have lost 40 pounds in the last 2 months. My lupus has calmed down and I'm finally off the steroids!
I'd love to chat with you all, peek at your diaries, and for us to motivate each other!
