Glute imbalance

Feeling discouraged, my left butt is weaker and I notice it in my workouts. The next day my right butt will be sore and my left feels like jello. I tried activatingonly the weaker side every other day, doing lower body workouts only on my left leg and glute, foam rolling my right butt. I've been doing this for a month and still no improvement. Any advice?
