Took me two hours to shovel my entire driveway yesterday. Best workout ever. I don't sweat like that even in heavy cardio.

    I haven't owned a snow shovel in 21 years

49 yo guy looking to get back to my "pre-retirement" self. I retired 4 years ago from a very active, physically demanding, high stress military job. I will be the first to admit that I have gotten lazy during these last 4 years, gained 25 pounds and was feeling like crap. Uncomfortable without a shirt on, etc. My multiple injuries will not let me get back to the 205 pounds, 7% body fat that I once was but I have made a commitment to myself to stop making excuses, to lose at least 25 pounds, get back under 200 and trim this excess body fat I've accumulated. I need to slowly get back to free-weight training so I don't aggravate my injuries and mess this all up. My spine is a mess. I'm 2" shorter now than when I entered the military. So far I'm right on track with my diet and exercise. I'm grateful for this community and the support from it's members.

Same here! I like bike riding...both road and MTB but hate doing it in crappy weather. Hoping on my road bike and hammering out 35-50 miles is a killer workout.
