Lots of red flags, especially in light of your history of eating disorders--you may be at risk for postpartum depression, especially if your reality is not meeting your expectations. If you haven't already, you should probably talk to your doctor (start with your OB) about what you're dealing with and your expectations. Consider a consult with a dietician to make sure that you are fueling your body sufficiently so that you can feed and be mama to your babies!0

I breastfed my son until he was nearly 3 (like, I finally cut him off the week before his birthday). My second was born when he was 2y3m, and then she breastfed until 20 months. So all in, it was nearly 4 years straight. It was a long time, but it was what was best for us at the time. I'd say my appetite went back to normal, but my habits didn't. It's all good now.1
