Use this site. Log your food. ALL your food (drinks, added sugar, oil, condiments, veg, fruit, etc). Eat the amount of calories the app tells you. This is how you lose weight. It is eating less calories than you burn daily.

You need to share some info about you...height? current weight? goal weight? How many calories are you eating to lose weight? What exercise are you doing? Are you weighing and measuring everything that passes your lips?

    This.

And remember, your fiance loves you for who you are. Don't let the worry of losing weight stress you out and ruin your big day. You will be beautiful no matter what.

I am 5'3 I weigh about 190. Most of the weight is my butt, legs and thighs. But I definitely have a gut! I would love to go back down to 140 but the number isn't the issue where as I just want to slim down. I know in some cases you can be my height and weigh anything between 120-160 and have a beautiful flat stomach and big butt and stuff. So I'm more on shaping up. I have tried working out, drinking water, counting calories which was about 1200 a day based on size, height and such. I'm honestly confused on this whole weight loss thing because I've always been OK with my thick thighs and my little chunk but I am sick every day all day and I want to lose weight and get to feeling better so I can live again.... Maybe I'm doing it all wrong

If you were logging 1200 calories and not losing, you were logging wrong, yes. The idea is right. Log accurately. You can probably eat more than that as well. Put your stats into MFP.

I'm just an inch taller and weigh 143 in my profile pic. I've been as high as 180 as well. Every change I've made has come from logging my calories (and weight training).

And just so you know guys I love how y'all are lifting me up... I really needed it! As of right now I'm trying to count calories, do a 30 fitness challenge on an app I installed, and drink more water. And he has been so wonderful! I know he loves me no matter what but I have enough health problems as it is with migraines and more. I just don't want to add obesity and diabetes with it. I want to be able to fit in my wedding dress yes but most importantly I want to be healthy enough to get out of bed and enjoy life. I love myself and sometimes of course I go all crazy and say I'm a fat cow I mean who doesn't? But I rather just be healthy!!! Be able to play with my future kids without dying for air lol... But I appreciate EVERYTHING you guys have said thank y'all so much for lifting my spirits

Set your diet to open to the public so we can see what u r eating. Track everything honestly and move as much as u can. If ubhatebexercise walk try for an hour per day ... don't eat back your cals burned from walking. Drink a big jug of water each day. Cut out refined sugar. Eat lots of fiber. Let's see how you do after a few weeks of this u will loose weight if you follow this

Get a digital scale. Don't worry about what you feelnu "should" weigh. If u r eating 1200 cals and have that many left over u r and not hungry I r likely not moving enough.get your heart pumping. Go walk for 1 hr per day BRISK walk u need to get the fat to drop from ur body they way to do that now is. Calorie deficit. Accomplish this by eating less. If u r eating 1200 cals honestly and no more and not loosing weight it means u need to move

OK so I fixed it and walking an hour really helps? I've been doing like 30 crunches and planks and adding a few a day :s

Oh! I almost forgot! Instead of losing weight I'm actually freaking gaining weight!!! Could be my medication but still!

You are not logging accurately, you cannot gain weight eating 1200 calories a day. Do you use a food scale? Do you pick the right items from the database?

Hey! Typically when my losses stall it is either from a serious increase in my activity levels (adding weightlifting, was the biggest culprit, but it started dropping again), the more common cause is not logging accurately. There are several ways in which logging can be inaccurate, mostly unintentional on the users part. I would suggest doing some reading. Here is a great place to start:

There is a bunch of great information in there. Look at the logging ones first though.
