How to find lost fitbit?

I lost my Fitbit Zip. Seems like I have looked everywhere. Stupid me bought a replacement black clip for it, its not neon colored anymore, so its harder to see. I know that it goes dormant after a while of no movement, so I can't find it via bluetooth syncing anymore. Anyone know some tricks to find lost Fitbit Zip? Plus I didn't get the warranty :/

    There is an App for that. When I lost mine I used App, it showed it was "close" but I didn't find it in my house.

    Two weeks later DW found it under floor mat in her car! I must have dropped it when riding with her. So it was close, in the garage.
    (My Fitbit is Type I carry in pocket.)
