How have people been successful at dividing their calories throughout the day? I've been doing roughly 25%breakfast, 30% lunch and 45 dinner.

Satiety/hunger management is highly individualized. What works for me won't necessarily work for you, and vice-versa. Sometimes I skip breakfast entirely, while other times it's my second biggest meal of the day.

The best thing for you to do is to play around with different meal sizes - and even the number of meals you eat throughout the day - until you find something that works for you.

Yeah, you really need to do what works for you.I do 3 meals 300/500/600 and 2 snacks of 200 for 1800 total.

I guess mine is close to a 20/30/50 split. I don't eat snacks very often so I'm not factoring them in the percentage. I can get by with a light breakfast or only drinking coffee as long as I have a filling lunch. Dinnertime is always when I eat the majority of my calories and doing so will usually hold be over till bedtime.

i don't consciously divide them. one day, i wasn't hungry, so i didn't eat until dinner and ate all my calories in one meal. other days, i feel hungry, so i eat every couple of hours. it doesn't seem to have any effect on my weight loss.
