Has anyone had any siatic injuries and still managed to have a running lifestyle? I used to love jogging, but had a work injury last year. Did PT and feel better, but now I want to get into running. Any suggestions?

I don't know much about siatic injuries, but if you have medical clearance to start running, I recommend couch to 5k as a great beginners tool. Gradually builds up time spent running in an achievable way

C25k is great for beginning! I used it last summer.

As everyone else said, I can't recommend Couch to 5k highly enough. If you want to run and are medically cleared to do it, then I really encourage you to check it out. I started C25K in September 2013, got up to a 5k before I got injured and let that scare me away from running, and then restarted C25K in January 2015. I'm currently training for my third half marathon.

One caution, though: get fitted for shoes at your local running store. I didn't do that, which contributed to my injury. Make sure they know about your injury as well.

I did C25K in 2015. Me. Never was a runner before. Last year had to have total hysterectomy. 6 months later, I'm back to it. Week 1 Day 2 under my belt! :-)
