I wasn't starving myself, I actually was only really unsatisfied once, and I'm pretty certain that was hormones.

Ate all the meals and above ground veggies I wanted, and cheese, fish, Yogurts. There were days I was so full I had to fib about a couple diary entries, like a cheese stick or two, to meet the caloric intake.

Awesome! I started off at 225 when I started this site and set a goal of 2# per week loss. I'd like to get down to 195 and then slowly start building muscle weight and get up to 200#. Before injuries, excuses, laziness, and poor eating habits I weighed in at 205 w/ 7% body fat. I'm now close to 49 years old and I don't want to grow up to be a fat old man some day! lol

That is my motivation too...not missing out on things because of weight! Want to be able to keep up on hikes with my fit husband and best friend! Want to be the one to initiate walks, hikes, bike rides, etc...

Low carb works for me too...but for me, I go slow and steady....10 down since 1/1

Girl!!!!! That's fantastic! I hear you about the carbs. Anything baked I have to ruin after a couple days or I'll eat it ALL. I could eat carbs for days. Look at you go! Keep it up. I hope you're proud of yourself!
