I'm trying to make Barilla Penne gluten-free pasta. It is 200 calories for 2 oz, so how much can I eat cooked for 200 calories. Is it a cup?

It's 2 ounces of dry pasta, which is difficult to figure out after cooking since it absorbs the water it's cooked in0

Weigh it before cooking. If you are cooking for more than yourself, weigh the dry portion and note the weight. Then weigh again after cooking when it is drained. With those numbers it is just a matter of a little math to figure out the equivalent cooked.0

I cook 2 oz of pasta for myself when I hav it, and it seems to me it fills the bowl about the same as my oatmeal does ... judging by appearance ... cause I have a favorite set of bowls I use ... and that is 1 cup of water and 1/2 cup of oats ... so maybe it's about 1 1/2 cups worth? ... like the previous poster said ... if you are cooking more than one serving it's best to do a test on it so you'll have something to reference later.0
