Might be the wrong category to post in but anyone have any luck with the Samsung gear fit 2 and syncing it with MFP? Better or worse than fitbit?

so, I have the s2 classic. the only way it syncs with MFP is to go to MFP's apps and devices and connect to SHealth. My gear reports all my steps etc.. to SHealth and the only way to get that info to sync to MFP is if you have SHealth connected. It is doing a good job of moving my steps aka my calories burned to my food log, giving credit and showing my calories burned thru exercise.

Sweet thank you, I went to the apps and devices section on MFP and connected the S health app but my steps are still not syncing with MFP maybe it just takes some time

I have the gear s3 and it syncs fine. Make sure to enable the step tracking in the mfp app. I actually turned off the step tracking because I did not like the amount of calories it told me I burned and added to my available for the day. I now track steps on watch and exercises and just log the exercises in mfp.

My Gear Fit 2 synced to MFP without an issue.

Do a search in this forum for Gear Fit 2, there is a thread that walks you through the process with pics and details. You have to go into the settings for both S Health and MFP apps and tell them to read and "write" to each other. Worked seamlessly.
