So ive tried dropping weight in the past and, while successful, i wind up losing strength. This makes me lose interest in the dieting and i go back to eating everything i can get my hands on so i can lift more. this time i think i have identified a few keys to helping avoid the strength/muscle loss.
1. protein intake - at the moment around 190-200gm per day from food and shakes
2. better sleep so no caffeine after lunchtime
3. NO MORE BEER!!!! very occasional drink but beer free fro about 5 weeks now.
still sitting around the 98-99 kg but so far so go. i'm down nearly 5kg and even making strength gainz.
