When motivation fails you, what do you have left? When it is 5 am and you don't feel like getting up for your workout, what do you have left? When there are free donuts at the office and you are feeling resistance slipping away, what do you have left? When you are half way done with the workout and you don't want to continue, what do you have left?

The thing is motivation comes and goes and we can not rely on it. It is an outward provocation to do what you know is right. It's rewarding yourself for doing the right thing.
Dedication is what we reach for. Dedication to being the very best, healthiest we can be. Dedication reminds us that we can do this. That we are stronger than the quit in us. Dedication to see it to the end is what wins the race. Motivation may get us going sometimes, but being dedicated will always carry is through.

    Absolutely agree. Motivation comes and goes like the tide. Commitment Discipline and Dedication are necessary.
