Ok I am 370 pounds and started my weight loss plan yesterday.
I am advised at 2300 calories for 2 pounds a week loss. I only took in 1300 calories yesterday, is that ok??
I prepared my meals for the week, and yesterday had 5 boiled eggs to get up to the 1300 mark.
Is it bad I'm only at 1300 calories for my daily intake and is 5 eggs too many??

5 eggs isnt to many no If you like them.
As for calories 1300 is WAY to low. I started at 232 pounds as a 5 ft 3 female and have lost my past 82 pounds on 1200 a day. However im a short female. Males need atleast 1500ish and you weigh more so you need, As the app says, 2300. Could probably pull off 2000 ATLEAST.
And that defecit is calculated to not include exercise calories so if you add exercise you need to eat some of it back aswell.
1300 is not sustainable for you, Every once in a while a low day is fine, But you need to fuel your body properly so it can work with you and not against you. Dangerously low calories will lead to nutrition deficiency, muscle loss-your body will eat your muscles to get the nutrients your not giving it, remember your heart is a muscle dont do that- and can possibly (likely) even lead to binges once your body kicks in and is like of *kitten* im hungry your not feeding me and youll have the most insane cravings of your life (happened to me once before i fixed my macros)
Edit: that being said i struggle to understand how you could feel fine on 1300, Maybe because your still new. Make sure you get a scale and weigh everything to track accuratly. Thats the #1 favor you could do for your weight loss long term i cant stress enough the importance, Even prepackaged meals with nutrition info can be off by ALOT2 -
As a male you should be eating at least 1500 and at your size you'll need even more than that. I know at first it is tempting to just drop your calories as low as you can possibly handle just to see the scale dropping fast but you're going to crash and burn rapidly. Don't sacrifice your health just to see those numbers move.
I'd say the only problem with 5 eggs is sometimes people won't want to share the room with you after (toot toot - if you know what I mean!)1 -

I'm curious as to why you *want* to eat so much less than your goal. Eating sufficient calories is good for all sorts of reasons -- it helps you prevent unnecessary muscle loss while you're losing fat, makes it easier to meet your nutritional needs, helps maintain energy, and many people find it reduces food cravings.0 -

Hes been at it 1 day thats why, Just hasnt realized yet. Your body will confirm everything were saying soon. I hope when it does you dont try to fight through it. Eating like that is why most people yoyo diet for the rest of their lives0 -

I thought it was his plan to eat less because he wrote that he would bump it up to 1,500. That, to me, read as if it was the plan for future days.0 -
i have to have hope its just an over excited beginner with food still in his belly from before who hasnt fully adjusted yet. I like to hope its not the beginning of disordered eating.
Edit: although he never said he felt good or fine at his 1300 calories....Please pick your health over fast weight loss ....2 pounds a week will be almost 100 pounds in a year.
