Seriously Disgusted with my UP Band!

So my hubby bought me an UP Band in early March. It worked well, if a bit quirky.. Then while on vacation in Orlando @ Disney during the last week of June, it had a big hiccup & wouldn't charge. So I did the soft reset and it worked. That lasted a week. The 5th of July, I plugged it in in the evening to charge because I was doing my weekly 10-12 miles on Saturday morning, and it only had 2-3 days of charge left, and decided to charge it.
The next morning, I got up and got dressed, ready to do my run/walk. Grabbed my UP band and it was dead...wouldn't even turn on. Plugged it in to charge, and the light came on, then went to blue..then red.. then it went off. For the past 2 weeks, it's been dead in my purse. So today I figured out how to get my S/N since we didn't keep the original packaging, and lodge a complaint. Problem is, I don't know that I want a new one to replace it. I probably want a refund (I doubt they'll give us one), because I'm seeing lots of similar complaints about the UP band.
Anybody else having issues with their UP Band?

Get a Bodymedia Fit if you get a refund- its much more accurate.0
