Can unused calories be counted over to a future day? Or will that work against my weight loss goals?

You want to make sure you're satisfied each day (don't undereat too much), but yes. I often roll over 100-150 calories from every day onto the weekend so I can loosen up a little.

Many people will follow a weekly calorie goal (which you can track on the app only, not the website), that way they can save calories for the weekends or special occasions

Yep, I tend to eat more on weekends due to going out to eat or drinking wine so I eat below my goal during the week so I have extra calories saved for the weekend. I keep an eye on my net calories on the app to be sure I am within my weekly calorie goal, not daily. I have days where I am not as hungry and days where I am ravenous so by doing this, it all evens out in the end

Yup. I do this every week, still losing weight.

Your body doesn't reset at midnight.
