I just realized

Most of my adult life I have had mental struggles with my food. Craving things, going back and forth in my head about whether I should eat something, wanting seconds, feeling guilty, promising myself to change this or that, feeling disgusted and engaging in terrible negative self talk. I just realized that by logging all my food I have done away with all that back and forth in my head. Now it is a matter of math. I do or I don't and I know exactly how to decide. What a relief that has been!

Totally freeing and empowering to no longer label foods as good and bad. It immediately stopped the guilt and even enabled me to make healthier choices as a whole.2
