Your pup looks embarrassed to be dethroned by a cat. :)

We lost our beloved Sambuca on April 7 to cancer. She was loud, vocal and always under our feet. Needless to say the house was too quiet (even with 2 kids, 3 cats and another dog (who also showed signs of missing her dear friend) so April 24 we rescued a pup who is now named Ouzo. For those that are not familiar Sambuca and Ouzo are black licorice flavored liquors, Ouzo coming from Greece.

I'm sorry about Sambuca. :( It's such a difficult thing to do.
When I had to have my previous dog put down I told myself I was never going to get another dog ever. That part of it just hurt too much. I lasted maybe a month before I discovered Petfinder and chose a puppy to adopt. I get it when you said the house was too quiet even filled with noise. I now have 2 dogs that I love to bits.

I'm glad you found a pup to give more love to. <3

He’s my neighbours, scared the *kitten* out of me in our first encounter. It was night and street lighting isn’t that bright so I was just like wtf is that ahaha. But he’s actually a gentle giant.

Oh I love the name Walter for your dog; it suits him. I met a beagle named Charlie once and it totally suited him as well. Made the woman smile when I told her exactly that. :)
