Hi,

You all seem so insightful so I just wanted a quick check on my calorie burns. I used to use a polar strap and now I use a Fitbit charge hr. I appreciate they're not 100% and I don't eat back all my cals just to be on the safe side.

I'm 36, 5.3 and 11 stone at the moment.

The figures I'm getting are roughly

400-500 cals for a 90 - 120 min hike with my dog everyday.

200 ish for half an hour on the elliptical

170 ish for half an hour circuits with weights

Does that sound roughly about right? Like I said, I know it's hard to be 100% just wanted to get some confirmation or otherwise :)

Thanks!

Yup. If you find you are not satisfied with your rate of weight loss over time, you can eat back less of your exercise cals.

Walking is bodyweight in pounds x 0.3 x distance in miles
