Possible water retention. How long has it been since you lost? Is the workout routine new?0

If your muscles feel sore it's probably weight gain from water retention while they are healing. This dissipates over time. Personally I like to do weight training every other day with rest days or just cardio on the days in between.
I'm assuming you are newer to exercise and are eating within your calorie limit and if you're eating back exercise calories your calorie burn estimates are reasonable?1
