I am new to using the MFP program, had an account for a while though. I have been using a couple other apps (Wish one did it all) also. I use Fitbit to track steps, heart rate, Calories burned etc... (Luckily Fitbit and MFP talk to each other). I also use a program called Jefit to set, monitor and track my workouts. It allows me to set up workout routines and it tracks your 1RM (1 Rep Max) your weights and sets, this however does NOT talk to MFP so I have to add all of it manually to get a good calorie burn count for the day.
I have been getting discouraged as my weight is stuck at 235.. I was told though that If you work out it is best to look more at the size change over the weight change as the same amount of muscle weights more then fat (i.e 1 cup of each). I have lost 50 lbs over the last 2 years but I have dropped from a size 44 in jeans to 38 and look much healthier (still have 35 lbs to go to hit my goal).
