Carb night???

My trainer is trying this, I read the book, it's intriguing- but I'm still a bit skeptical.

    I do carb nite I love it I have been steady going down I only do it once a week and I don't go over board with it mine some times just consists of cheat meal then ice cream or dessert

    If you follow it from a compliance standpoint, that is one thing. If you believe it's going to produce better results than what you are currently doing, probably not. I calories/carb cycle (3 LCHF days, 4HCLF days). I have found it's beneficial for satiety and compliance. Below is a good video on carb backloading from Dr. Layne Norton.

    You should also take into consideration how it would affect your workouts.
