High fiber benefits?

I'm a 20 year old athlete with great physique and am trying to find things that have a great source of fiber for relatively low calories/carb amounts. I found cranberries to be a great source of fiber. Also fiber 1 cereal is great but it has an awful lot of carbs per serving. If there is such thing as a low calorie fiber rich food let me know! Thank you!

Dark chocolate but that's calorie dense.
Look at the fiber in 85% dark though.0 -
I'm not sure what you consider low carb...but Mission brand Carb Balance tortillas/Xtreme Wellness tortillas.2

Berries in general are pretty good.
I get a lot from vegies, and make sure to keep skin on fruit and vegies to not waste any!0 -
Beans, lentils, and chick peas have a TON of fiber and are pretty healthy.
I like Amy's Lentil Vegetable soup (the low in sodium one), it's got 8 grams of fiber per serving (about 1/3 of my daily fiber goal). Or home made lentil soup would be even better.
100 grams of chick peas has 17 grams of fiber. They are good just with a little lemon juice, salt & pepper. Or add them to salad. Or have some hummus & veggies (hummus is made from chick peas).
Black beans are good with rice, in tacos, as a side dish...
Also leafy greens and berries are really good for fiber! Not quite as much as beans but still better than most other foods with very low carbs & no fat.2 -

You should be getting what you need from a healthy diet.
If it's not in your diet, pick up some fiber powder that you can add to water or other drinks. It will keep the calories down.0 -
Sometimes I add physillium powder to my smoothies or protein shakes. I bet it would be good in oatmeal or banana egg pancakes too...0

So does low carb make you constipated? (Am I allowed to even say that?)0

Veggies, in general, are high in fiber. Okra, specifically, is VERY high in fiber.0
