When I use the elliptical trainer in my building for 25 minutes it says I burned 160 calories. But when I enter that time in MFP it says I burned 400ish. How is that possible?

MFP greatly exaggerates exercise calories. I would go with the lower number and even that might be high but at least it is a lot more realistic.0

Yes I agree. There's no way I burned 400 calories. I'll use the lower number. I can't help thinking that's a bit high too. Thanks for answering.0
