To be over, or to not be over...

Past few weeks I've been failing at bulking. only like 100-300 cals over for an entire week. I read a post not too long ago by someone on here saying "eat at around maintenance and body re-composition will take over." Granted I'm perfectly fine being "skinny" as long as I'm not skinny-fat, which I see alot of guys trying to bulk become. Thoughts on this idea?

Body recomp is pretty painfully slow and wheel spinning... but you're not failing, 300 cals over TDEE is a perfectly acceptable slow bulk.

What's stopping you from eating more?

300 over per week is 0.1lbs per week, which I don't mind too much. I just don't want to get Skinny-fat, seen it happen and it's not pretty

You should be fine as long as you're lifting hard and making the bulk worth it's while :)

300 a day. Most guys I see complaining about not building muscle just don't eat enough, eat.
