    umm i had to wait 2 weeks for the mdt. that count?

    Like you had an appointment and you had to wait 2 hours?
    We went to a walk in clinic once on a holiday Monday and it was like a 3 hour wait so we left and went back

    10 months to see a rheumatologist for my first appointment (welcome to OHIP here in Ontario, Canada). Spent last night in the ER with my hubby who was having chest pains. We got there at 2.45am and he finally saw the doc at 10.30 this morning - although the cardiac/emerg nurses did take excellent care of him until then despite being run off their feet with patients. Usual wait for my family doc, 2 days to get an apt, anywhere from 5 mins to 45 mins wait when I get there, just depends how busy she is.

    Lol those are small waiting times, if I ring my doctor the next appointment is usually in like 2 weeks when I've probably died.

    I won't wait more than 20 minutes past my appointment. I've. Ee. With the same doc since I was in 7th grade. He knows.

    The specialist we wanted our son to see has no vacancies until Oct 2017 (we firsts were referred in Sep 2016).

    We are seeing someone else next month.
